1. Rental Agreement

Your rental period begins on the date of signing the rental agreement and continues on a monthly basis until terminated by either party with written notice.

2. Use of Storage Units
You agree to use the storage unit solely for lawful purposes. The following prohibitions apply:
- Hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.
- Storage of illegal items will result in immediate termination of your rental agreement.
- Units must not be used as living spaces.
Failure to comply with these rules may lead to legal action and eviction from the storage facility.
3. Security and Access
Chiswick Storage employs various security measures to protect your belongings, including 24/7 surveillance, secure access codes, and on-site staff. However, we are not liable for any loss or damage to items stored, unless caused by our negligence.
3.1 Access Hours
Units are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please ensure you keep your access codes secure and report any unauthorized access immediately.
3.2 Insurance
We recommend obtaining your own insurance to cover potential losses. Chiswick Storage offers insurance options, but they are not mandatory.
4. Maintenance and Repairs
Tenants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of their storage units. Chiswick Storage will perform regular maintenance of the facility but is not responsible for individual unit upkeep.
4.1 Repairs
If you notice any damage or require repairs to your unit, please contact our maintenance team promptly.
5. Termination of Agreement
You may terminate your rental agreement by providing at least 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, you must remove all items from your storage unit by the specified date.
5.1 Early Termination
Early termination may incur penalties as outlined in your rental agreement.
5.2 Abandoned Property
If you fail to remove your belongings after termination, Chiswick Storage reserves the right to dispose of the items as permitted by law.
6. Liability
Chiswick Storage is not liable for:
- Loss or damage due to fire, flood, or other natural disasters.
- Loss or damage resulting from theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We recommend securing your storage unit with appropriate locks and insurance.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Chiswick Storage operates. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.
8. Modifications to Terms
Chiswick Storage reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify tenants of any changes through official communication channels. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Chiswick Storage regarding the use of our storage services, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
